The UK Government has decided in all of its wisdom, against the advice of all of the experts and the RSPCA that the small population of Badgers we have left in the UK should be shot!!!  They are opening trials that will allow farmers to randomly shoot as many badgers as they like in certain areas, initially just to see if shooting them works!!

They know from a trial done in 1990s that culling badgers did nothing to lower the levels of Bovine TB, in some areas the number of cases increased!! There are videos going around showing farmers taking infected cattle through healthy cattle in markets, not sanitizing there boots when moving from infected to non-infected areas (despite signs telling them to).  Generally being careless!!!......Its not the badgers spreading TB!!!

Why humans think its there right to go around ending the lives of other living beings just because it suits them to is totally beyond me......

Anyway here is a link to the Badger Cull petition, PLEASE sign it!! animals can't fight for themselves, they don't even know that some plump smug politician is planning there demise, YOU DO, so PLEASE help them and sign this petition and share it with your friends and help stop this terrible bloodbath from ever happening!!

Ok so i am a little bit confused.  How do you know when you post a picture that what other people see is the same as what you intended.  I thought my camera was broken as it was showing green in the clouds, i used a thing in windows 7 that re-calibrated my monitor and hey presto! the greens all gone.  Only now all of my photos look darker than they did before, if i look on the i-pad they look different again and on another computer again they all look lighter.

Does any one know the best way to calibrate a monitor, so that results are a little more consistent.....is there a standard setting?

Until now its something i've never thought about
